I am Brandon Theo Dorsey, a God fearing broadcast journalism major, leadership studies minor at Hampton University. I am an aspiring sports writer/reporter/analyst which is why I initiated this blog. Currently I am interning at ESPN radio to get a better feel for sports media and the radio environment. Refereeing is another way I have stayed close to sports without playing as I have been a referee for the past 3 years. Refereeing has helped me get a better understanding for the game of basketball in particular, and has added a new perspective to the way I analyze and consume sports on the daily basis. I believed in practice about as much as Allen Iverson did as a kid, and thats probably why I'm writing instead of playing today. Either way I will still take you on the court, so don't test me. Never the matter I am blessed to be in the position I am in, and pray that God continues to show me favor in route to my dreams.

Lil cuz, I'm proud to call you my cousin and family! I'm very proud of the way you've grown into a very knowledgeable young man. Continue to put GOD first and you'll achieve everything and anything your heart desires. You have some outstanding roll models you've learned from. But, I just have to disagree on one thing....the reason you're not playing basketball is because you can't play basketball!!!!!! LOL!!! Peace cuz and continue success!!
